Sir: There is respectfully submitted herewith the general report of all transactions of the Dominican Customs Receivership for the calendar year 1929, which corresponds to the twenty-third fiscal period. With the report are présented collateral data and remarks considered pertinent to certain fiscal matters and developments in the country which bear relation to trade and expansión of commerce. Pursuant to instructions of the general regula tions governing, a detailed statistical report comprising a summary of Dominican commerce for 1929 also is incorpora ted.
